Basketball Academy in Action

Well the first year of the 2011 FUMC Basketball Academy has been completed with 89 of our 3rd through 6 grade students participating.

Great basketball handling improvements were made and very evident comparing  day one to the last day's session.  We hope that that each and ever participant and their family felt it was physically and spiritually worthwhile and will join us again this fall.  Would like to thank everyone for their donations, all the coaches, van drivers and especially the UMW women for their very popular after school snacks for making God's Sports Ministry possible!

As always the FUMC Sport Ministry is open to all suggestions for improving our activities and volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.  May God bless our youth and their families - hope to see you for practice this fall!
